    CUBESTORMER Lego Robot

Who was the fourth Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle? What would it look like
if Black Widow saved Captain America? Where will MST3K come back? How
fast can a Lego robot solve the Rubik’s cube? Find out in this week’s Geek Bits!

Top Image: LEGO Robot Smashes Rubik’s Cube Speed Record (via GeekTyrant)

This LEGO robot is called CUBESTORMER 3 and it has smashed the Rubik’s
Cube speed record. It solved it in 3.253 seconds at the Big Bang Fair in
Birmingham, UK. This is 2 seconds faster than its Dad, CUBESTORMER 2.
The previous record was 5.27 seconds.

I’d love to hear what you think of the Internet’s greatest moments in this week’s “Geek Bits.”

     9. The snark is back! New version of MST3K is coming back to television (Via Blastr)

    Uh oh! It’s movie sign!

It sounds too good to be true, but the
Mystery Science Theater 3000 crew is coming back to television. It’s
about time. Zap2it is reporting that National Geographic is prepping
three episodes from the guys of RiffTrax, which is the online snark
track project the MST3K stars put together after the show was canceled
(for the last time) in 1999. The episodes will feature the ol’ gang:
Mike Nelson, Kevin Murphy (as Tom Servo) and Bill Corbett (as Crow T.
    Robot).

Would you watch a MST3K reunion on National Geographic?

‘Pacific Rim 2′ Discussions Are Still Happening (Screen Rant)

While Pacific Rim looked like a box office bomb, in the end it made an astonishing $411 million worldwide. Here’s what Legendary CEO and Pacific Rim producer Thomas Tull said,

“We love being in business with Guillermo and frankly that movie, if you look it up, did I think more business than the first X-Men, did more than Batman Begins, our first movie, did more than Superman Returns, The Fast and the Furious, Star Trek–
so for a movie that was an original property that we made up it’s done
really well. It did north of 400 million dollars globally and both the
home video sales and the merchandise have way over-indexed, so it seems
like fans really loved the world. So we’re going to sit down with
Guillermo and as long as we think it’s authentic and there’s something
to say, we’re certainly open to it.”

Do you think Pacific Rim 2 will happen?

Should Black Widow save Captain America?

    1. Venus De Milo: The Forgotten Female Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle (via GeekTyrant)

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have
always been a staple of late ’80s to ’90s geek culture. Four turtle
brothers are exposed to mutagen and then raised by a Ninja rat to fight
crime and eat pizza in only the most radical of ways. It’s so easy to
forget that at one point they were once five with a girl turtle, who
would go down as one of the most controversial characters in TMNT
    history.

Do you remember the TMNT with breasts?

The only reason I know about the fifth Turtle is from a Robot Chicken sketch where Michael Moore is lamenting the plight of female toys from the 80s like Jem, She-Ra, and the Turtle, who flushed herself down the toilet.
