What Should You Do If You Don't Like 'Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back'? [Poll]

E is for The Empire Strikes Back

When most people rank the Star Wars films they put Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980) at the top of the list. So, what do you do if you're one of those people that doesn't like Empire Strikes Back (ESB)?

It's my personal favorite for what I call the BIG REVEAL, for those few who haven't seen it.

Not everyone agrees its the best of the series though. In fact, George Lucas says its the worst.


While many informal polls have The Empire Strikes Back at number two in the list of Star Wars movie rankings, the American Film Institute has Star Wars at number 13. In fact, ESB isn't even in the list of the top 100 when compared to Citizen Kane or Casablanca.  So, what's a movie fan to do if they're in a group of The Empire Strikes Back lovers?

I'm going to throw this question to you: 

• If someone doesn't like Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back what should they do? 
• Do you think it's the best or worst of the saga? 
• Can you think of anything that might change someone's mind?
