I know I’m not the only one excited about rumors that the Eleventh and Twelfth Doctor from Doctor Who (and perhaps other incarnations) will meet in the fiftieth anniversary episode. The various incarnations of the Doctors have met before in a handful of episodes. There’s also a very special short called “Time Crash” where the Fifth and Twelfth Doctor met for charity. Here’s the description from Wikipedia:

“Time Crash” is a mini-episode of the British science fiction television series Doctor Who. It was broadcast on 16 November 2007, as part of the BBC One telethon for the children’s charity Children in Need. Written by Steven Moffat, it starred David Tennant and Peter Davison as the Doctor.

The episode, set during the last scene of the previous episode “Last of the Time Lords,” depicts a humorous encounter between the Doctor’s fifth and tenth incarnations, played by Davison and Tennant respectively. “Time Crash” was praised by critics who reviewed the episode, and was a ratings success; it was the most-viewed show of the night, and briefly the most-viewed episode of Doctor Who since 2005, with 11 million viewers.

What did you think of the encounter? Are you excited about the fiftieth anniversary meeting?

The funny thing now is that David Tennant married Peter Davison's daughter. Who played David Tennants daughter in and episode called the Doctors daughter.

It's all wibbly, wobbly, timey wimey!

      David, that is wild.
Not a Who fan, but anytime you start crossing over and characters like that meet is always cool.

    3. Jay Noel on November 2, 2013 3:29 am

Peter Davison can easily come back and do cameos, since he was so darn young when he played the Doctor.

That was fun…I had to watch that entire video!

    4. Yolanda Renee on November 2, 2013 11:56 pm

That's a wonderful thing to do for Miles! He's going to have so much fun, and maybe for one day forget what he is going through.

    7. Pat Dilloway on November 4, 2013 7:23 pm

That's awesome. Be nice if DC let them use the actual characters.

    8. Jay Noel on November 4, 2013 7:30 pm

This is such a worthy cause. I caught this story on my Facebook feed, and I love this kid. I have a son that's 7 yrs old, and I just cannot fathom how difficult a battle this must be.

What an awesome thing to do. Go Batkid! My sister-in-law battled leukemia as an adult. It was rough and I lost a good friend. I hope Batkid beats it.

This is tough for adults Jay, so it must be terrifying for him. All the press means he'll have many people to share the day with.

Yeah, I don't understand it either Pat. Can you imagine lawyers threatening to sue sick kids?

    16. Maurice Mitchell on November 5, 2013 1:02 am
