      I'm largely plagiarizing this one:

Patrick Stewart: Well at least one of us stayed in shape.

    2. Pat Dilloway on June 5, 2014 2:42 pm

      This one isn't plagiarized:

Kate Mulgrew: At least one of us still has most of her original hair.

    3. Nigel Mitchell on June 5, 2014 3:17 pm

I stopped playing Tic TAC Toe after that movie.

    4. Nigel Mitchell on June 5, 2014 3:20 pm

      Lol, you'd think so

    5. John Garrett on June 5, 2014 3:43 pm

I always got the order of the Defcon levels wrong. I remember playing a Commodore 64 game called Defcon that seemed to be inspired by Wargames. I screwed that up, too. Aw, shucks.

If anyone watches the show "The Americans", it's set in the 80's, and the Russian spies are just now tripping onto ArpaNet and the kind of damage computer code can do. I'm surprised they never mentioned this movie on there.

Also, you will chuckle at the 5" floppy discs…ahhh, memories…

Oh my God, that's mine! LOL Thank you very much. Naturally, I'm drawing a total blank on the current photo.

      That's a great photo.

Pat Dilloway took the words out of my mouth. That's exactly what I was thinking, hahaha.

Kate: The only officer with class and a dress. Why didn't the guys tell me it was jeans and a black shirt day, and not a black dress event?

    12. Tony Laplume on June 6, 2014 7:14 pm

      Old is the new Trek.

    13. Nox on June 12, 2014 8:42 am

They used to be, it was a good place for them to recruit but recent policy change has meant they are now distancing themselves. Perhaps they got to close and were giving more information then they were gaining.

    14. erictan on June 13, 2014 5:33 pm

I don't buy the million-dollar set factoid. This is the early 80s. Back in the late 70s James Bond movies had massive sets at Pinewood Studios, including the interior of a tanker housing two nuclear submarines and a monorail for The Spy Who Loved Me, a set that must have cost much more than the NORAD set.
Or maybe British set designers and set construction crew are cheaper.

4 captains? No no no there was only 3 captains in Star Trek. You can't count enterpise as a show come on now! And a space station isn't a ship.

Ah well we made it to the convention but captAins archer and sisko are still in the wormhole prior to using 21st century traffic and doing a quick change into casuals.
