Here’s What the Cast of SUICIDE SQUAD Looks Like

Suicide Squad (2016) – Adam Beach (Slipknot), Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress), Karen Fukuhara (Katana), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flagg), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Will Smith (Deadshot), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Killer Croc), and Jay Hernandez (El Diablo)

Last week, we shared the first photos of Will Smith as Deadshot out of his costume, but director David Ayer gave the full cast photo for the upcoming Suicide Squad movie.

Here’s the cast from left to right, Adam Beach (possibly Slipknot), Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress), Karen Fukuhara (Katana), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flagg), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Will Smith (Deadshot), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Killer Croc), and Jay Hernandez (El Diablo). Everyone is especially excited about Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) and Bruce Timm, who created her for Batman: The Animated Series said she “looks cool”

Will Smith had talked about his role on Suicide Squad before saying, “With this character and the DC world, I love that I’m getting the opportunity for the global definition of Deadshot. There’s been Deadshot in little appearances here and there, there’s an idea, but Deadshot isn’t defined, really. I get to be a part of the creation that will be the biggest historical image of Deadshot.”

David Ayer also tweeted the full Deadshot costume.

Will Smith described his motivations for the character saying, “I guess I like the concept of dubious morals. I always liked to play in that area. With Suicide Squad, we just started on that. I think I haven’t explored the psychology enough of Deadshot, somebody who could take money to kill people; how he justifies that for himself.”

Missing from the cast photo are Jared Leto who plays The Joker, Viola Davis who plays Amanda Waller, Common who plays an unknown role, Ike Barinholtz who may be Dr. Hugo Strange and Raymond Olubowale as King Shark.

Suicide Squad is directed by David Ayer and stars Margot Robbie, Will Smith,  Jared Leto, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Common, Raymond Olubowale, Jay Hernandez, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Joel Kinnaman, Karen Fukuhara and Viola Davis. Suicide Squad is scheduled to be released on August 5, 2016.

What do you think of the Suicide Squad costumes? Do you think the movie will be good?

DC desperately needs it to be good!
Huge cast. Considering that is the one complaint about Age of Ultron, hopefully it doesn't hurt Suicide Squad.

I assume King Shark is going to be a lot of CGI which is why they didn't show him.

I'm not really all that familiar with Suicide Squad, but from the looks of this I really need to get caught up! 🙂

Intense costumes and makeup. I'd like to see this.
