At this year's San Diego Comic Con, Lucasfilm editor J.W. Rinzler screened this never-before-seen blooper reel from the original Star Wars. Now it's finally hit the web. Rinzler has written classic books on the making of Star Wars like The Making of Star Wars: The Definitive Story Behind the Original Film
Note: The first 48 seconds are silent because the original clips don't have sound, so don't turn up your speakers.
The book has been re-released as a digital Ebook, The Making of Star Wars (Enhanced Edition)

What do you think of the bloopers? Are they the best you've ever seen?

Think the best part is parts falling off the landspeeder...
ReplyDeleteNever saw the original Star Wars (I know, I must be the only one on earth) but this was quite funny.
ReplyDeleteYou're not the only one Joy. There are lots of classic movies I haven't seen yet.
ReplyDeleteVery funny, love blooper reels! Especially when included after the movie.
ReplyDeleteYou got it David!
ReplyDeleteIt's funny to think of them chasing parts around the desert Alex.
ReplyDeleteAnother great geek site Alex!
ReplyDeleteIt would be great if they had had them at the end of Episode VII. Cannonball Run style!
