This month, we're running our Geek Madness tournament, pitting Star Wars vs. Star Trek in terms of characters. But another long-running debate is in technology. Can a lightsaber beat a blaster? Can the Death Star take out a Borg cube? This infographic tries to answer the question.

I'm gravitating towards Star Wars technology after reading all this.

I'd still feel safer with a phaser in my hand than a light saber. Less likely to accidentally remove my own limb.

The thing is: the star wars tech is very poorly thought through. Really, that many MW for slave 1's cannons? Do they even know how much energy that is? It just seems like a random high number. But cube equals d-star? Preposterous.

I'm not sure anymore. Both sides are awesome.

Where did they find the "facts" for this graphic. I'm a huge fan of both, and the specs seem to just be made up.

Now with the help of technology it is easy to make everything and the advantage is taken by the people. courseworkbox.co.uk

ST all the way. A few dozen Borg on an SD, game over Palpatine.
