‘The Dark Knight’ in Kinetic Typography [Video]

There’s a design movement called kinetic typography, what used to be called “moving text.” It basically animates text to capture a mood and feel. Enthusiasts have been particularly generous to The Dark Knight, animating a lot of the scenes with very cool videos. Here’s a selection of five of the coolest on YouTube.

1. The Joker Meets the Mob

2. The Joker Explains How He Got His Scars

3. The Joker Explains the Value of Money

4. The Joker Explains Chaos to Two-Face

5. Gordon Explains Why the Dark Knight Must Run

What do you think of the videos? Do you think kinetic typography makes it better or worse?
